mona, flying on the y-13 rocket-ship, was the first earth animal (including humans) to successfully land on mars. once there, mona found sources of both food and water.
“due to overexposure of ultra violet rays, mona’s cells are regenerating at an exponential rate,” nasa reports. “there is a good possibility, given that her biological system will soon reach equilibrium, she will live forever.”
