“some baby animals when they are born are weak and helpless” is the first split from mz mona mars and zap gun.  but it’s a split mixtape in sort of another sense: zap gun and mz mona mars each recorded one channel of the split.  if you’re the first one to guess which channel belongs to which, you might be eligible to win a collage!

the avenues street fair in salt lake city this year will be held on 7th avenue on saturday, september 11th (9/11).  the killerbuds have officially applied for a booth at the fair!  they’ve been hard at work making cassette tapes, paper crafts, stickers, cds, and other things to have available for sale at the fair.  here’s a picture of some of the stuff they’ll have.

so you should consider stopping by and you should consider telling all your friends.  in addition, there are several new projects that will soon be finished.  mz mona mars has teamed up with zap gun to make a mixtape together and sources indicate that it’s very nearly complete.  look out for snakes! has a second album that is almost done.  heavy petting has a new album that could come out practically any day.  and a new band called meet the buds has started writing songs about all the killer buds.

in the mean time, enjoy the second theme song cover by crime school.  this time they decided to make a version of the theme song to one of their favorite movies, the blob.
